Who is responsible

QuoteMaker Pty Ltd is the service operator for SafeSite WHS and is responsible for this website and enquiries sent to the SafeSite team. Email hello@quotemaker.com.au for privacy questions or requests.

Information we handle

Enquiries

When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, enquiry type and any company details, workflow focus or message you choose to include. We record the page you submitted from without its query string, and a reference for the enquiry. If you email us, we receive the details you include in that email.

Your walkthrough brief

The walkthrough planner works in your browser. Adding its brief to the form does not send it to us; you can review and edit the message before sending.

Technical records

Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical records needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser information and security events. The enquiry service uses a hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. We do not currently use advertising trackers.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, understand product interest, arrange a walkthrough and maintain business records. Routine technical records are used to operate, secure and diagnose the website. We do not use this website to make automated decisions about a person.

Sharing, storage and retention

Enquiry records

Website enquiries are processed and stored through Amazon Web Services in Sydney. We use AWS email services to notify our team. A confirmation reference means your enquiry has been recorded.

Other providers

Other information may be handled by providers that support email, website hosting, security and professional advice. Depending on the provider and request path, information may be processed in the United States and other countries where those providers operate. Contact us if you need current details before sending personal information.

Retention

Enquiry records are scheduled for deletion after one year. Copies in correspondence, backups and security records may follow different retention periods. We otherwise retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute handling and security.

Your choices and requests

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where the law permits. You can also make a privacy complaint. Email hello@quotemaker.com.au; we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

For a complaint, describe what happened and the outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge it, investigate it fairly and provide a written response within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
